In 2008 the country saw a major financial recession which led to several building projects being paused or abandoned. The steel was one such development. Abandoned in mid 2008, our client had seized the opportunity to purchase and develop a part erected steel frame structure previously intended for residential accommodation to 26 self contained studios over 5 storeys.
Our brief was to construct a compliant layout adopting the existing steel frame and obtain planning permission. Once granted we had been appointed to deliver the scheme, which was completed in mid 2016.
