The urban layout of the scheme is taken from the pure geometric forms found in the Sacred Mosque in Mecca: the square, the circle and the straight line. The orientation of the mosque is on the cardinal axis like the Ka’ba itself so upon entering the mosque, the worshiper already faces the direction of prayer.

The design of the mosque and its surroundings incorporate Quranic symbols through the heavenly gardens, harmonious contemplative spaces and room for holistic social activities. The connection to nature invites the worshiper to connect to his/ her own nature. The mosque location provides a perfect moment of pause for the individual before continuing their way.
